Mama's Garlic Bread

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  If you like a crunchy crust, leave out the olive oil.

6.5 cups Flour (with a little extra)
3 cups lukewarm Water
1.5 Tbsp Yeast
1.5 Tbsp Sea Salt
1 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Olive Oil (optional)

Put 3 cups of warm water (about 100 degrees) into your mixing bowl. Add the yeast, add 1 cup of flour, blend slowly. Add the rest of the flour, then the oil, honey and salt at the end. Blend all of the dough slowly until it is only a little sticky. You may need to add a little more flour. Do not over flour, or over process. Once blended, cover with plastic wrap and let it rest until dbld in size. Punch it down, and shape your loaf, let rise again, dbl in size. Cut 3 diagonal slices about 1/2" deep into the top of the bread.  Bake for about 15-20 minutes. Spritz the top of the bread with a water bottle right after you put it in the oven.

This will make about 3 loaves.  If you want, use it for bread, and save the leftovers for pizza dough, it makes amazing pizza!  If you want to know how to make the loaf the size of an italian loaf, we bought our pans off Amazon for about $8 bucks, you may access it through the following link: Italian Bread Pan.  Enjoy!

Use Mama's Garlic Butter, to finish it off, then wrap in tinfoil and bake an additional 15 minutes at 400 degrees.  ENJOY
